01Where is my collection stored?
Your active collection is stored locally on your device. 2EuroCoin does not require a developer-operated account and does not upload the collection to our server. Apple or Google may include local App data in system backup or device transfer when you enable those services.
02Does Scan identify a coin automatically?
Android: No. The live camera is a visual framing guide. You select a country, year or keywords and manually compare filtered catalogue candidates.
iOS: Depending on the App version, a coin image may be processed on the device to suggest possible matches. Suggestions are not guaranteed identification and must be confirmed by you.
03What if I deny camera permission?
The catalogue, search, collection and statistics remain available. On Android, open Settings → Apps → 2EuroCoin → Permissions → Camera. On iOS, open Settings → Apps → 2EuroCoin → Camera. Menu wording can vary by device version.
04Why is a coin image missing?
Catalogue information is bundled with the App, while many coin illustrations load over the internet from external sources. Check your connection and try again. A visible placeholder is shown when an image is unavailable; the catalogue entry remains usable.
05How do I remove collection data?
Set a coin's quantity to zero or remove it from Collection. To remove all active local data, use the platform's Clear storage/Delete App controls. Earlier system backups may remain until you remove them through your Apple or Google account.
06How do I report incorrect information?
Email the country, year, coin title, the correction you propose and an authoritative source when possible. For an image-rights request, identify the exact image and explain your relationship to the rights holder.
